資源再生利用是實現環境保護和社會可持續發展的重要舉措。東亞國家和地區地域相連、情況相近，在資源利用、環境保護等方面有許多共性問題。為了及時交流經驗、推動資源的再生利用，相關國家和地區的組織聯合發起“東亞資源再生技術國際會議”。從1991年開始，每兩年召開一次，至今已成功召開了16次。第17屆東亞資源再生技術國際會議(簡稱EARTH 2024)將于2024年11月1日-4日在中國長沙召開，由中國有色金屬學會、中南大學等有關單位主辦，熱忱歡迎各界朋友蒞臨長沙，共襄盛會。

Resource recycling is a pivotal measure for advancing environmental protection and fostering social sustainability. East Asian countries and regions share geographical proximity and face similar challenges in resource utilization and environmental conservation. To facilitate the timely exchange of insights and propel resource recycling, collaborative efforts among pertinent organizations in these areas gave rise to the "International Symposium on East Asia Resources Recycling Technology" in 1991. This biennial conference rotates among the East Asian countries and regions and was successfully convened 16 times. The 17th International Symposium on East Asia Resources Recycling Technology (EARTH 2024) will be held in November 1-4, 2024, in Changsha, China, organized by the Nonferrous Metal Society of China, Central South University, and other relevant entities. The symposium extends warm invitations to friends from diverse backgrounds and welcomes them to participate in this significant event in Changsha.
