Application fee must be paid online at the time of submitting the application form. As per CG Government rule, the examination fee paid will be refunded to Chhattisgarh domicile candidates who actually appear in the examination - the refund will be credited to the same bank account from which payment was made. | Details | Age as on 1st January of the year of advertisement publication. General/UR candidates must have completed 18 years and must not have completed 30 years as on 01-01-2026. As per CG Government circular dated 18.01.2024, a special relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit (making it 35 years) has been extended from 01.01.2024 to 31.12.2028 for local resident candidates of Chhattisgarh. Combined with all relaxations, the maximum age limit shall not exceed 45 years in any case. |

How to Apply
- 1Candidates shall apply online only through the CG Vyapam official website https://vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in. Candidates applying for the first time must complete Profile Registration (Profail Panjikaran) on the Vyapam portal - once registered, personal details need not be re-entered for future exams. Detailed instructions on how to fill the form are available on the Vyapam website under "Instructions to fill the FORM" link. Candidates are advised to read the departmental recruitment rules carefully before applying.

- 3Complete Profile Registration on https://vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in (if not already registered) - scan and upload a light-background passport-size photograph in .jpg/.jpeg format (50 KB–100 KB) and specimen signature in .jpg/.jpeg format (50 KB–100 KB); filename must be alphanumeric without spaces or dots.

Important Instructions
- This appointment is purely temporary. As per terms of appointment, services can be terminated at any time. Appointees will be posted at any district in Chhattisgarh State as per vacancies. Merely filling the Online Application Form or appearing in the examination does not confer any right of appointment on the candidate. Eligibility is verified at document verification stage; ineligibility found at any stage will lead to cancellation of candidature. The responsibility of verifying eligibility before applying rests entirely with the candidate. CG Vyapam is not responsible for any information provided by candidates; the full responsibility lies with the candidate. At the time of joining, selected candidates must produce original copies of all certificates. Police verification and medical fitness certificate from District Hospital Medical Board are mandatory before appointment. Women reservation calculation follows CG Government circular (F 13-2/2014/Aap.Pr./1-3 dated 14.07.2017) - only whole numbers are used, not decimals. CG Vyapam's jurisdiction is limited to conducting the examination and declaring results. Document verification, selection and appointment processes are conducted by the department, not CG Vyapam. Exam result will be declared on the CG Vyapam website https://vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in. OMR evaluation is by machine; no re-evaluation is available. Objection to any question/answer must be raised online on the Vyapam website by logging in with profile ID and date of birth, within the specified time after model answer key release. Fee: Rs. 50/- per question online. Objections by post/email/in-person are not accepted. Final answer key, once published with results, is non-challengeable. Candidates must carry only the Admit Card, original photo ID and Blue/Black Ball Point Pen inside the examination hall. All other items including mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic devices, earrings, belts, wallets, scarves and caps are strictly prohibited. Candidates wearing religious or cultural attire must report to the exam centre in advance and will be subjected to additional security checks before being permitted to enter. All disputes relating to eligibility/ineligibility of any candidate are subject to final decision by the Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department, Chhattisgarh.
