Application Fee
Application fee is to be submitted via A/C Payee Demand Draft only. The fee is non-refundable. Applications without the prescribed Demand Draft will not be accepted. Separate Demand Drafts are required for each post applied for.
Age Limit
| Details | The crucial date for determining age limit shall be the last date of application. Maximum age is 27 years for most posts and 25 years for MTS (Office & Training) and Technical Attendant (Printing Machine Operator). Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for reserved categories. |

How to Apply
- 1Eligible candidates must download the prescribed application form from the official DSSC website (www.dssc.gov.in). The form must be opened and filled using Adobe Reader only, typed in block letters, and taken as a colour printout - handwritten forms will not be accepted. Separate applications must be submitted for each post along with requisite documents and a separate Demand Draft. The application along with all attachments must be sent by post to the address below within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News.

Important Instructions
- Application form must be typed in block letters, opened/filled in Adobe Reader, and taken as colour printout - handwritten forms will NOT be accepted. Separate applications with separate Demand Drafts must be submitted for each post applied for. Applications without photograph, without signature, or without the prescribed Demand Draft will not be accepted. OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate and EWS Certificate must be issued on or after 01-04-2025. PwBD candidates must have permanent disability of not less than 40% certified by competent authority. Biometric verification with Aadhaar Card will be carried out at the time of written examination/skill test. Candidate's appearance at the time of examination must match the photograph in the application form. Use of mobile phones, pagers, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, pen drives, or any electronic/communication device is strictly prohibited at the examination venue. Violation will result in disciplinary action including ban from future examinations. No TA/DA will be paid for attending written examination or skill test. Selected candidates will be required to serve anywhere in India. Mere submission of application does not entitle candidates to be called for examination. Depending on applications received, candidates may be shortlisted based on marks in minimum essential qualification. Applications received after the due date will not be considered. DSSC will not be responsible for postal delays. The Commandant reserves the right to cancel/postpone the recruitment process and increase/decrease vacancies without assigning any reason. Decision of the Appointing Authority (Commandant, DSSC) is final and no appeal will be entertained. DSSC will not be liable/responsible for paying any compensation in case of injury/death suffered by a candidate during the recruitment process. No interim correspondence regarding application status will be entertained.
