Important Instructions

  • Candidates must appear in all three stages of the examination; it is mandatory to qualify each stage individually. No exemption from any stage shall be granted to any candidate including those belonging to the Physically Handicapped category. Final Merit List shall be prepared exclusively on the basis of aggregate marks in Stage-II and Stage-III. Candidates selected for RO post shall not be considered for ARO or CA; candidates selected for ARO shall not be considered for CA. Biometric information (Photograph, Thumb Impression and IRIS) of all candidates shall be captured at examination centres. Candidates must cooperate with security personnel for identity and security checks. The Provisional Answer Key for Stage-I shall be displayed on the official websites for 2-3 days, and candidates may challenge any answer key by paying Rs. 500/- per question challenged (refundable if challenge is accepted). No Score Card will be dispatched by post; candidates must download their Score Cards from the official websites after declaration of final result, as they will be available online for a limited period only. Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, pagers, calculators, electronic watches with calculator facility or any other electronic gadget are strictly prohibited inside the examination premises. Possession of barred items will be treated as Unfair Means (UFM). Merely appearing and passing in the examination does not confer any right to the candidate for selection or appointment. Selection is subject to eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness and verification of original documents. Information uploaded on the official website shall not be provided under the RTI Act during the course of the recruitment process; factual information shall be provided only after declaration of the final result. All candidates already employed in Central/State Government or Public Undertakings must apply subject to production of NOC from their Cadre Controlling Authority as and when asked for. All disputes pertaining to the conduct of this examination shall fall within the jurisdiction of Allahabad only. The High Court reserves the right to alter the number of vacancies, modify the examination process or modify/alter the minimum cut-off marks without assigning any reason.
