Salary & Pay Scale
| Details | The consolidated monthly remuneration is inclusive of Basic, DA, HRA, Conveyance, and Mobile Allowance. Remuneration is classified as per A Class, B Class, and C Class cities. Annual remuneration will increase by 4% of the consolidated remuneration after completion of every year, subject to requirement of KRCL and at the discretion of KRCL. No accommodation and no Food/Mess Allowance will be provided by KRCL. | Other Allowances/Facilities: Insurance, Payment of Gratuity, and Bonus as per provisions of New Labour Code-2026 (as applicable). TA as per extant KRCL policy for official travel beyond the project area. Complementary Railway Pass for travel on duty as per extant KRCL policy. Rest House of KRCL if available while on duty; otherwise hotel charge reimbursement as per KRCL rates on production of vouchers. 15 days fully earned leave on completion of every 6 months (2.5 leaves per month); 8 days Casual Leave during the year. How to Apply
- 1Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria may report directly for the walk-in interview at the venue on the specified date and time for their respective post. Candidates must fill and bring one copy of the application in the prescribed format (Annexure-A attached with the notification), available on the KRCL website at www.konkanrailway.com under Recruitment > Current Notifications. No online or offline application submission by post/courier is required – candidates must appear in person.
- 2Registration time is strictly 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs only on the date of walk-in interview. Applications not conforming to the prescribed format or having illegible/ambiguous certificates or without certificates or incomplete will be summarily rejected. Any kind of canvassing will result in disqualification of the candidate at any stage of selection without assigning any reason.

Important Instructions
- Candidates must ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria before attending the walk-in interview for a particular post. Registration time is strictly 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs only on the date of the walk-in interview; late arrivals will not be registered. Candidate can appear for interview at this one venue only; no TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview. This engagement is on a fixed term contract basis and shall not result in regular/permanent absorption in KRCL service. Candidates must give an undertaking in writing to KRCL to this effect. Selected candidate can be posted and transferred at any time, anywhere to the KRCL establishment during the contract period. Contract may be terminated by giving one month’s notice from either side or payment in lieu thereof. Contract can be terminated without notice if performance is not satisfactory. No accommodation will be provided and no Food/Mess Allowance will be paid by KRCL. Even after contractual agreement, if any document/certificate/information is found incorrect or false, contractual service will be immediately terminated without prior notice, besides legal action. Candidates who are already working in KRCL on contract basis and selected against this notification do not require to follow the condition of notice period for joining the new post; however, a relieving letter from the concerned Konkan Railway authority will be required at the time of joining. The Corporation reserves the right to cancel/restrict/curtail/enlarge the contract engagement process without any prior notice and without assigning any reason. Any kind of canvassing will result in disqualification of the candidate at any stage of selection without assigning any reason. Statutory Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other applicable taxes will be deducted at source.
