Physical Eligibility
| Details | The competition level for OSSC CTSRE 2025 is expected to be high given the 646 Group-B/C technical vacancies open to diploma holders in civil engineering, architecture, and media/AV disciplines across Odisha. The Preliminary Examination, being a general aptitude paper at 10th standard level, will attract a wide pool of aspirants including those already preparing for other state-level exams. The largest chunk of vacancies — 606 seats — is under Junior Engineer (Civil) across three departments, making it the most sought-after post. | The effective competition narrows significantly at Stage-II as the Technical Paper is post-specific and tests core subject knowledge, naturally filtering out those with weak technical preparation. Candidates with strong AutoCAD, computer literacy, or AV production skills will have a clear edge in the specialty posts. Since allotment is based on merit-cum-preference, accuracy in both stages and a well-thought-out preference list are critical to securing the desired post and department. |
