Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee online as specified below. Fee must be paid through Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking / UPI only. No offline/cash payment will be accepted. Candidates must download and retain the payment receipt. Bank transaction charges, if any, are borne by the candidate. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Age Limit
| Details | Candidates must be at least 21 years of age as on 01-08-2026. Upper age limit varies by category. Age will be calculated as per Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Divyang (PH) candidates are eligible for 10 years of upper age relaxation as per General Administration Department resolution dated 22.01.2021. Regular Bihar Government employees with minimum 3 years of continuous service are eligible for 5 years upper age relaxation. Only one of the applicable relaxations under clauses 2(ii), 2(iii), and 2(iv) will be granted. |

How to Apply
- 1Applications must be submitted online only through the BTSC official website https://www.btsc.bihar.gov.in. Hard copy, printed, handwritten, or offline applications will not be accepted. The online portal will be active from 20-05-2026 to 19-06-2026. Candidates must upload all required certificates and marksheets in the designated columns during the online application. All certificates must be issued on or before 19-06-2026. Candidates must ensure they satisfy all eligibility criteria before applying. Registered Mobile Number and Email ID must not be changed after submission as all communication will be sent through SMS/Email only.

- 3Matriculation (Class 10) original certificate / marksheet (for date of birth proof)
- 4Degree certificate and marksheets for all years (from qualifying degree onwards) – Chemistry / Microbiology / Dairy Chemistry / Agricultural Science / Veterinary Science / Fisheries Science / Biotechnology / Food Technology and allied subjects
Important Instructions
- Only bonafide Indian citizens are eligible to apply. Reservation benefit is available only to permanent residents / domiciles of Bihar; candidates residing outside Bihar are not eligible for reservation. No hard copy, handwritten, or offline application will be accepted – online submission only. Application fee is non-refundable; incomplete applications will be rejected. Candidates must upload Aadhaar Card number (or alternate photo ID) as mandatory Photo ID proof. Photo must be recent (within 3 months), show full face and head clearly, eyes open, plain white background, no shadows. Candidates must retain at least 5 extra copies of the photograph uploaded during application. Reservation category cannot be changed/corrected after submission; no claim beyond the declared category will be entertained. All certificates / marksheets must be issued on or before 19-06-2026 to be considered valid. Only certificates mentioned and uploaded in the online application will be verified at Document Verification; any additional certificate not mentioned in the online form will not be accepted by the Commission. Blurred, unclear, dark, or illegible uploaded documents will result in rejection of candidature at Document Verification stage. Candidates must download and retain the hard copy of the filled online application form for all future reference. Commission will not be responsible for internet/banking system failures during online payment. All information published regarding this recruitment will be on the BTSC website only; candidates are advised to check it regularly. Separate notification through newspapers, SMS, or email is not guaranteed. Any misrepresentation or use of forged/false certificates at any stage of selection will result in immediate cancellation of candidature and legal action. All decisions of the Commission regarding eligibility, selection, and other matters are final and binding.
