- 1Visit the HIMS recruitment portal at https://himsrecruitment.odisha.gov.in/ from 12.05.2026 onwards and access the online application link for Vikram Dev University faculty posts.
- 2Register on the portal, then fill the online application form in all respects with correct personal, academic and experience details as per UGC and University requirements.
- 3Upload all required supporting documents (certificates, mark sheets, experience, reservation documents, etc.) in the prescribed format along with the online form.
- 4Pay the applicable non-refundable application processing fee online to the specified SBI bank account of Vikram Dev University and ensure proper entry of payment details.
Important Instructions
- The University will follow UGC Regulations and Government of Odisha rules for all aspects of eligibility, selection, reservation, pay and service conditions for faculty appointments.
- Minimum qualifications and selection for direct recruitment to Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor posts shall be strictly as per UGC Regulations, 2018 and amendments.
- The selection committee composition, process and pay structure will be as per UGC Regulations and approved by Government of Odisha. The University is governed by Government of Odisha rules for age of superannuation and reservation; candidates must belong to categories as per State norms to claim reservation benefits. Reservation for women (33%), PwD (4%) and sportspersons (1%) will be implemented on merit as per prescribed principles and guidelines of Government of Odisha. Corrigendum and updates, if any, will be uploaded only on the University website; candidates must visit the website regularly to remain updated. Applications not submitted online within the deadline or whose hard copies are not received by the University within the prescribed time will be liable for rejection.
