For UPSSSC Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard Recruitment 2026, the application fee (as a direct charge) is nil for all categories. However, an online process fee of ₹25 is payable by all candidates. Age Limit
| Details | For UPSSSC Forest Guard Recruitment 2026, the candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years as on the first day of July of the calendar year in which direct recruitment vacancies are advertised. Age will be determined on the basis of the date of birth recorded in the High School (10th) or equivalent certificate. Important Instructions
- Candidates are advised to read all instructions issued by UPSSSC carefully before applying for Forest Guard and Wildlife Guard Recruitment 2026. Non-compliance with any of the instructions may result in outright rejection of the application or disqualification (DEBAR) from future examinations and selections conducted by UPSSSC. The key instructions are listed below.
- All candidates belonging to reserved categories of Uttar Pradesh must mandatorily mention their category in the application form. Candidates claiming reservation/age relaxation under more than one reserved category will be given only one relaxation — whichever is more beneficial. Candidates who are not domiciles of Uttar Pradesh are not eligible for reservation benefits; such candidates will be treated as Unreserved (UR). EWS category candidates must possess a valid EWS certificate issued between 01-04-2026 and 20-07-2026 (based on income for FY 2025-26, valid for FY 2026-27). Divyang (Persons with Disability) candidates must update their disability category/sub-category in the application form as per the latest UP Government orders. Ex-Servicemen who will have been discharged from military service by 20-07-2026 are also eligible to avail reservation benefits under the applicable Act. Outstanding sportspersons of Uttar Pradesh must produce the certificate issued by the competent authority as per the prescribed format to avail reservation benefits. No individual correspondence will be made by the Commission with any candidate; all information is uploaded on the official website upsssc.gov.in only. Candidates who are in Central or State Government service must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer before participating in the selection process. Any act of misconduct, use of unfair means, or malpractice during the examination will result in cancellation of candidature and may lead to DEBAR from all future examinations and selections by UPSSSC. Male candidates who have more than one living wife are not eligible to apply; similarly, a female candidate who has married a person who already has a living wife is not eligible, unless exempted by the Governor. UPSSSC reserves the right to amend, modify, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without prior notice.
