| Details | As per UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education 2018, and its amendments from time to time: | Option A: | Master's degree with 55% marks (without grace marks or rounding off), in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. PLUS: NET conducted by UGC/CSIR, or SLET/SET, or Ph.D. awarded as per UGC Minimum Standards Regulations (2009 or 2016). Candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to July 11, 2009 are exempt from NET/SLET/SET subject to fulfillment of conditions: Ph.D. awarded in regular mode, thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners, open viva voce conducted, two research papers published (at least one in a refereed journal), and at least two papers presented at UGC/ICSSR/CSIR-funded conferences. | Option B: | Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the Top 500 in World University Rankings by QS, THE, or ARWU (Shanghai Jiao Tong University) at any time. | Marks Relaxation: | 5% relaxation (55% to 50%) at Master's level for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently-abled candidates. 5% relaxation (55% to 50%) for Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master's degree prior to 19th September 1991. | As per Minimum Standards of Architectural Education Regulations, 2020 and amendments: | B.Arch. with minimum 60% marks and 3 years of relevant professional experience; OR B.Arch. + Master's degree in Architecture or allied subjects with minimum 60% marks at either level and 1 year of relevant professional experience. |

Important Instructions
- Online application must be filled at https://recruitment.HNGU .ac.in; no other mode is accepted. Physical submission of 03 (Three) hardcopy sets [01 Original + 02 Photocopies] along with all documents must reach the Registrar on or before 20-06-2026, 06:00 PM through Speed Post or in person. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate online applications and separate hardcopies with separate fees for each post. The University reserves the right to withdraw the advertisement partly/wholly, fill or not fill posts, or increase/decrease the number of posts at any time without giving any reason. Mere eligibility does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview; shortlisting is strictly based on Academic Score. Any additional qualifications, experience, or papers published after the last date of application will not be taken into consideration for the interview. The age of retirement/superannuation will be as per Government of Gujarat norms/UGC/Council norms from time to time.
