How to Apply
- 1Applications must be submitted online through the HIMS Portal (https://hims.odisha.gov.in/) which will be available from 07.05.2026 onwards. Candidates must complete the application in all respects and upload all necessary supporting documents on or before 10.06.2026. The online application can be filled in multiple sessions. No other format of application or CV should be sent by email or any other means. In addition, a hard copy of the downloaded submitted application along with all relevant documents must be sent only via Speed Post to reach the University on or before 20.06.2026. Courier/ordinary post/hand delivery will not be accepted.
- 2Persons employed in Government/Public Sector Enterprise/Autonomous bodies should forward a copy of their application through proper channel or furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent authority or employer. In-service candidates should submit the NOC at the time of interview.

Important Instructions
- Applications must be submitted online via the HIMS Portal only; no other format or CV by email or other means will be accepted. Hard copy of the downloaded application must reach the University via Speed Post on or before 20.06.2026; courier/ordinary post/hand delivery will not be accepted. Only matriculation/SSC certificate/pass certificate issued by the concerned educational board will be accepted as proof of date of birth. Candidates above 60 years will not be eligible to apply. The period spent to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. degree shall not be considered as research experience. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST/SEBC) must submit proper caste certificates as per Government of Odisha guidelines and format. PWD candidates must submit Disability Certificates issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed by Government of Odisha. Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately and pay the application fee for each post. Applications without applicable fee will be summarily rejected; application fee is non-refundable. No hard copy will be considered if the applicant fails to submit the online application by the closing date. Application without signature will not be considered and will be rejected without refund of application processing fee. Upload documents in PDF/image format ensuring readability; upload photograph in JPEG format of less than 200 KB. No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the interview. Canvassing in any form will be subjected to disqualification of candidature. In cases of any disputes, jurisdiction shall be restricted to the Courts in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, Odisha. The University reserves the right to revise/reschedule/cancel/suspend the advertisement/recruitment process without assigning any reason; the decision of the University shall be final & binding.
