All posts are filled on deputation or absorption, except Junior Accounts Officer and Junior Accountant, which the notice lists under "Deputation" only. For every post, the age limit for appointment by deputation (or absorption) must not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. For every post, the period of deputation, including any deputation in another ex-cadre post held just before this appointment in the same or another organisation or department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The circular does not set out one selection procedure for all posts. Departmental officers in the feeder grade who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for appointment on deputation. Similarly, a deputationist in the Armed Forces Tribunal is not eligible for appointment through the promotion channel. Applications without supporting documents or photographs, unsigned applications and applications incomplete in any manner will be summarily rejected.
