AIIMS Gorakhpur has released Advertisement No. AIIMS/GKP/RECT/SR/2026-27/37 dated 21 May 2026 for 27 Senior Resident posts across 11 departments under the Government of India Residency Scheme. Selection is via Walk-in Interview on 30 May 2026 at the Administrative Block, AIIMS Campus, Gorakhpur. Eligible candidates must hold an MD/MS/DNB degree in the respective discipline and be within the age limit of 45 years as on the date of interview.

• Selection is based on Walk-in Interview held at AIIMS Gorakhpur. If a large number of applications are received
• a written test may be conducted for shortlisting before the interview. The decision of the Executive Director
• AIIMS Gorakhpur regarding selection shall be final and binding. Names of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the official website — no individual intimation will be sent.

• Download the Application Form (Annexure I) and Bio-Data Form (Annexure II) from the official website aiimsgorakhpur.edu.in.
• Fill in the application form completely in block letters and affix a recent passport-size photograph (self-attested).
• Pay the application fee via NEFT and note the transaction ID and date in the form.
• Prepare self-attested photocopies of all required documents (degree certificates, mark sheets, age proof, caste certificate, registration certificate, etc.).
• Candidates applying for more than one department must submit separate applications with separate fee for each post.
• Report in person at the Administrative Block, AIIMS Campus, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur between 09:30 AM and 11:30 AM on 30 May 2026 with filled application, bio-data, originals + self-attested copies of all documents, and fee payment receipt.
• Candidates currently in Central/State/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institution service must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

• OBC candidates must produce a valid NCL-OBC certificate issued between 01 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. Certificates issued before this period will not be accepted. OBC certificate must clearly indicate that the applicant does not belong to the Creamy Layer and must be in the format prescribed by DoP&T OM No. 36036/2/2013-Estt.(Res.) dated 30.05.2014. EWS candidates must submit an Income and Assets Certificate in the prescribed format from a competent authority. The appointment is on a whole-time basis — private practice of any kind is strictly prohibited during the contract period. If an appointee wishes to apply elsewhere or resign within the first 3 months, no NOC, Relieving Letter, or Experience Certificate will be issued. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Law at Gorakhpur. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
