The assignment is purely on contract basis for a maximum period of 36 months or completion of the project, whichever is earlier, and gives no right to claim regular appointment, permanent absorption in AIIMS Kalyani/ICMR or continued contractual appointment. The contract will automatically expire on completion of 36 months, or earlier in case of withdrawal of support by the funding agency. The contractual appointment can be terminated at any time by either side by giving 30 days' notice or salary in lieu thereof, if the appointee is not found satisfactory for the work profile.
