AIIMS Raebareli has announced a total of 91 vacancies for Faculty posts across 35 departments including Anatomy, Cardiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Radiology, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and others. The post-wise and category-wise vacancy break-up is as follows: The department-wise distribution of these 91 vacancies across all 35 departments (such as Anaesthesia & Critical Care, Biochemistry, Cardiology, Nephrology, Neurosurgery, Radiology and others) is provided in detail in the official notification. AIIMS Raebareli has clarified that the above vacancies are provisional and subject to variation, and the Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies, including reserved category vacancies, as per Government of India rules.

For all four posts, candidates must hold a medical qualification recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (First or Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule), along with a recognised postgraduate qualification such as MD/MS, or an equivalent recognised qualification in the concerned discipline. For super-specialty subjects, candidates additionally require an M.Ch. (for surgical super-specialties) or D.M. (for medical super-specialties) or an equivalent recognised qualification. Candidates holding a DNB qualification in broad or super specialties must submit documentary evidence of DNB equivalence with MD/MS/DM/MCh as per the NMC notification dated 14.02.2022, as specified in the official notification. Age Relaxation: No age relaxation is available to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates applying against unreserved vacancies. For applicants on the Deputation basis, the maximum age limit is 56 years as on the last date of receipt of application.

Age Relaxation:

The application fee must be paid through the online payment gateway available on the AIIMS Raebareli website. The fee is non-refundable, and online applications submitted without the fee will be summarily rejected. Candidates applying for more than one post must apply and pay the fee separately for each post.

Retired Faculty Consultants provided with campus accommodation are subject to deductions of Rs. 24,000/- (Professor Consultant), Rs. 22,000/- (Additional Professor Consultant), or Rs. 20,000/- (Associate Professor Consultant) plus applicable license fee.

Pay Scale (Direct Recruitment & Deputation Basis, 7th CPC)

Lumpsum Remuneration (Contract Basis)

Selection will be carried out by a duly constituted Standing Selection Committee. AIIMS Raebareli reserves the right to conduct a written test in addition to the interview in departments where the number of applicants is 30 or more. No TA/DA is paid for appearing in the interview.

Candidates applying for more than one post must apply and pay the application fee separately for each post. OBC-NCL/EWS certificates must be issued during the financial period 2026-27 (i.e., after 01.04.2026) to be considered valid. PwBD reservation applies to candidates with not less than 40% benchmark disability, supported by a certificate from a competent authority. The appointee must be in whole-time service of AIIMS Raebareli and cannot undertake any other paid assignment or private practice.
