A total of 121 Senior Resident (Non-Academic) posts are available across 39 departments at AIIMS Raipur. The department-wise, category-wise break-up is given below. Vacancies are provisional and subject to variation as per Government of India rules and requirements. Notes: As per guidelines, EWS posts are not carried forward or treated as backlog vacancies if unfilled; other category candidates may provisionally apply for such a post, but will be considered only as UR candidates if the EWS seat is not otherwise filled. Candidates applying for clinical departments may also appear for interview for the Trauma & Emergency Department, subject to their willingness.

A postgraduate medical degree, viz. MD/MS/DNB/Diploma, in the respective discipline from a recognised University/Institute. For School of Public Health: A postgraduate medical degree, viz. MD/DNB in Community Medicine/PSM, from a recognised University/Institute. For Dentistry: A postgraduate degree, i.e., MDS, in the concerned speciality. Candidates must be Indian Nationals. Age and other qualifications/experience will be counted as on the date of interview. Only candidates who have been declared successful in their qualifying degree exam, and who will be completing or are likely to complete their tenure on or before 31.08.2026, will be eligible. If the qualifying exam result is declared after the interview, the candidature will stand cancelled and no claim for selection will be considered.

The upper age limit is 45 years as on the last date of receipt of the application form. This is a fixed-tenure appointment under the Residency Scheme, not a regular/permanent post. The appointee will not be entitled to Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, or other benefits available to regularly appointed Government servants. Senior Residents are entitled to leave at the rate of 2½ days for every completed month.

Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. Candidates working in Central/State Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC is as per Central Government rules, and 4% reservation applies for PwBD candidates on a horizontal basis. The appointment can be terminated at any time, by either side, with one month's notice or payment of one month's salary, without assigning any reason.
