AIIMS Rajkot follows 4% horizontal reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities according to Government of India rules.

The postgraduate medical degree or equivalent qualification must be obtained from an institution recognized by the NMC or NDC. A Ph.D. must also be obtained from a recognized institution. For Anatomy and Biochemistry, both medical candidates possessing an MBBS degree and eligible non-medical candidates may apply.

The maximum age limit for the Senior Resident posts is 45 years . Category-wise relaxation is available as follows:

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary of Rs.1,29,984 per month . The appointment will initially be for six months or until a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. The appointment is full-time, and private practice of any kind is prohibited.
