This is a direct recruitment drive open to eligible candidates from across Gujarat. Online applications are the only accepted mode - no offline or postal applications will be entertained.

The 250 vacancies for AMC Assistant Senior Clerk are distributed across five categories - General, SC, ST, SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes), and EWS. Within each category, 33% of posts are reserved for women candidates. Additionally, 10 posts are reserved for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan). PwD reservation is available only to candidates with a disability of 40% or more, certified by a Civil Surgeon.

Both conditions must be satisfied simultaneously. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from any University established under Central or State Act in India, or from an Institution recognised or declared as Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Candidates must have at least 3 years of combined or separate administrative cadre experience in any of the following types of organisations: Government / Local Self-Government institutions / Government undertakings / Semi-government bodies / Boards / Corporations / Municipal Corporations Companies registered under Companies Act 1956 or 2013 Co-operative societies registered under Co-operative Societies Act

The age limit for AMC Assistant Senior Clerk 2026 is calculated as on the last date of online application submission (07 July 2026). Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and must not exceed 38 years. However, various age relaxations apply as detailed below. The upper age limit in no case shall exceed 45 years for any candidate (except current AMC employees). Note: Reserved category candidates applying for unreserved posts will not receive age relaxation benefits.

The application fee for AMC Assistant Senior Clerk 2026 must be paid online by 09 July 2026. Divyangjan (PwD) candidates are fully exempted from paying any fee. Fee once paid is non-refundable.
