Professor (Cardiology): DM/DNB/DrNB(Cardiology). Specific experience and research requirements are detailed in the official notification. Associate Professor (Cardiology): DM/DNB/DrNB(Cardiology). As Assistant Professor in the subject for two years in a recognised medical institution; and (i) have published at least two research publications after appointment as Assistant Professor and must be amongst first three authors; and (ii) have completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research from medical institution designated by the Commission. Assistant Professor (Cardiology): DM/DNB/DrNB(Cardiology). Have completed the Basic Course in Biomedical Research from recognised medical institution designated by the Commission.

Associate Professor (Cardiology): Rs 2,99,750/- per month initially + 3% increment annually + Rs. 25,000/- academic/special duty allowance + Rs. 18,000/- HRA. Assistant Professor (Cardiology): Rs 2,45,250/- per month initially + 3% increment annually + Rs. 20,000/- academic/special duty allowance + Rs. 16,000/- HRA.
