APCOB has notified 25 tentative training seats for Apprentices. The category-wise vacancy break-up is as follows: Abbreviations: OC – Open Competition; BC – Backward Classes; SC – Scheduled Caste (Group-I, II & III); ST – Scheduled Tribe; EWS – Economically Weaker Sections. Candidates must meet the educational qualification, age, and other eligibility conditions specified below before applying for the APCOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026. Candidates must have completed graduation and hold a valid passing certificate. Candidates must be proficient in Telugu and English (reading and writing). All eligibility conditions (age, qualification, etc.) are computed as on 01.08.2026. The candidate must not have undergone apprenticeship in any other organization, terminated an apprenticeship midway, or be currently pursuing apprenticeship training in any other bank/organization/company/firm under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Apprentices selected under this notification will receive a monthly stipend as detailed below: The Bank pays the stipend to the apprentice every month after deducting the Government's share, which is paid directly to the apprentice via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) as per Apprenticeship rules. Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits. Apprentices are not treated as "employees" of the Bank and are not entitled to employee benefits.

Selection to the APCOB Apprentice program is based on a merit list prepared from academic marks, followed by document verification. The selection process includes: Registration on the NATS 2.0 portal (www.nats.education.gov.in) with a 100% complete profile. Online application submission via the APCOB website between 02.08.2026 and 11.08.2026. Scrutiny of applications received on or before the last date by a Committee appointed by the Bank. Preparation of a merit list in descending order based on marks/percentage obtained in SSC, 12th (HSC/10+2), and Graduation. In case of a tie in percentage, candidates are ranked according to age in descending order (older candidates ranked higher).
