Candidates should keep the following key dates in mind. These dates are identical for all six DCCB notifications. The exact exam date, shift timing, and city of examination will be intimated through the call letter, which will be made available for download closer to the exam date. This date has not been announced yet in the notification.

A total of 338 vacancies have been notified across the six DCCBs. The table below gives the post-wise number of vacancies for each district. Out of the total notified vacancies, a fixed number of posts in each district (except Vizianagaram) are earmarked exclusively for in-service employees of Primary Agriculture Co-operative Societies (PACS) affiliated to that DCCB, subject to those candidates meeting the eligibility criteria specified in the notification. Category-wise (OC/BC/SC/ST/EWS) and PwBD/Ex-Servicemen break-up of vacancies is given separately in each district's official notification PDF, since the reservation percentage varies slightly by district.

Each DCCB recruits only for its own district's requirements, so candidates must be local to the erstwhile district of the post they are applying for. For example, only candidates local to erstwhile Chittoor district can apply for Chittoor DCCB posts, and only candidates local to erstwhile Kadapa district can apply for Kadapa DCCB posts, and so on for Nellore, Prakasam, Visakhapatnam, and Vizianagaram. Local status is generally determined based on either of the following: Having studied in an educational institution in the local area for at least 4 consecutive academic years up to the SSC (or equivalent) examination; or Having resided in the local area for at least 4 years immediately preceding the SSC (or equivalent) examination, if not covered under the study criterion above. Other allowances and perquisites are admissible as per the service rules of the respective Bank. Selected candidates are required to execute a Contract Bond with a liability of ₹2,00,000, agreeing to serve the Bank continuously for a minimum period of 2 years; this bond condition applies to both Staff Assistant and Assistant Manager appointees.

The application fee/intimation charges (non-refundable) are the same across all six DCCBs and both posts, and must be paid online only. Bank transaction charges for online payment are additional and must be borne by the candidate, including those applying under reserved categories. Payment can be made using Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, UPI, or mobile wallets.

Selection to both Staff Assistant and Assistant Manager posts (open market category) is based purely on performance in the Online Written Test, followed by document verification and a medical fitness check. There is no interview for either post. Candidates shortlisted for document verification should be ready with the originals and photocopies of the following documents. Candidates are not required to send these to the Bank at the time of online application; they need to be produced only when called for verification. Only one online application should be submitted per post; details cannot be modified after final submission. Signature must not be in capital letters and must be in black ink; the handwritten declaration must be in the candidate's own handwriting and in English only. Candidates already employed must produce a "No Objection Certificate" from their current employer at the time of document verification.
