To be eligible for APSC VO/BVO Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the nationality, domicile, educational, and age criteria detailed below. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam. As proof of domicile, candidates must upload either a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes or a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

Candidates must possess at least a Degree in Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science from any recognized University/Institution. Applicants are required to upload relevant mark sheets/grade sheets of each semester/year reflecting the subjects, along with the final pass certificate.

Candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2026. Age is calculated based on the Class-X/Class-XII Examination Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Marksheet issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council where the Date of Birth is clearly reflected; no other document is accepted for age proof. Candidates with less than 40% disability will not be considered for any relaxation applicable to Persons with Benchmark Disability.

Selected candidates will receive Pay Scale plus Grade Pay plus other allowances as admissible to Assam State Government employees from time to time.

The application fee for APSC VO/BVO Recruitment 2026 varies by category, with an additional processing fee charged by CSC-SPV for all applicants.
