Physical Standards & Endurance Test

New entrants to Government service on or after 1 January 2004 will be governed by the New Defined Contribution Pension System New Pension Scheme.

Selection is based on a Skill/Physical/Practical test followed by a written test, wherever applicable. Only candidates who clear the technical trade test and physical test are eligible to appear for the written test. Final selection for all Group 'C' posts is made solely on marks obtained in the written test, subject to qualifying in the Skill/Physical/Practical test. No interview will be conducted. The question papers will be bilingual English and Hindi, except for the General English section, which will be in English only. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
