• Selection is made strictly as per merit and following extant reservation rules. All stages — CBT

• Stage 1 - Computer Based Test (CBT)
• CBT consists of 100 MCQ objective-type questions of 1 mark each; duration 90 minutes (120 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates). Negative marking: 1/4th of marks allotted for each question deducted for each wrong answer. Question paper set in English & Hindi; in case of discrepancy
• English version shall prevail. Examinations for all positions shall be conducted on the same day and time — therefore
• one candidate should apply against ONE post only. CBT score will be used only for shortlisting for the next stage; obtaining minimum qualifying marks does not confer any right to be shortlisted as selection depends on merit rank in community-based CBT merit list. • Stage 2 - Document Verification (DV)

Actual charges for medical checkup shall be reimbursed by the Company at the time of joining.

• Examinations for all positions are conducted on the same day and at the same time; one candidate must apply against one post only. The nature of engagement and training is hands-on, on-job basis; trainees may need to report on shifts. Candidates must carry the printed e-Admit Card and one valid original photo ID (Voter's ID, Driving License, Aadhaar Card, Passport, PAN, or any other Government-issued ID) to the CBT centre; absence of either will result in denial of entry. Candidates must report to the CBT centre at least one and a half hours before commencement; entry gates will be closed half an hour before the exam and no entry will be allowed after gate closure. SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen outstation candidates appearing for CBT are entitled to Sleeper Class to-and-fro rail fare reimbursement on production of self-attested original journey tickets; local conveyance will not be reimbursed. All outstation candidates shortlisted for GD/GT or PI are also entitled to Sleeper Class rail fare reimbursement.
