There is a total of 1 vacancy available for the Laboratory Technician post under the Multi-Disciplinary Research Unit (MRU).

The candidate must be a citizen of India. * Candidate with 1 year of Lab experience in a recognized institute after completion of DMLT shall be preferred. Candidates with work experience in Molecular Biology and Quality assured Laboratory shall be preferred. Must possess requisite qualification. Applicants who have passed (HSC/Equivalent, +2/Equivalent, DMLT/ B.Sc (MLT)/ M.Sc (MLT)) in more than one attempt will not be considered. Must be of good mental condition and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the discharge of his/her duty. If married, must not have more than one spouse living. Candidate must have a valid Registration Certificate from the State Council of DMLT/DMRT, Odisha.

Candidates with essential qualifications will be short-listed and called for interview on the basis of career marks. Final merit list will be done on the basis of career mark weightage and Viva-voce test mark.

The candidate will be appointed purely on contractual basis for a period of 364 days, which may be curtailed or extended further subject to satisfactory performance or funds available for the project.
