There are a total of 11 vacancies for the Project Engineer-I post for the Network & Cyber Security Strategic Business Unit.

BEL Project Engineer-I Category-wise Vacancy 2026

Applicants whose discipline/specialisation mentioned in their Degree Certificates do not tally with the prescribed discipline/specialisation will not be considered. Candidates must possess a post-qualification industrial experience of at least 2 years as on 01.10.2026. Teaching, academic, or research work, experience in banking and financial institutions, non-profit organisations, and internship placements forming part of an academic curriculum are not considered as relevant industrial experience.

The upper age limit is 32 years as on 01.10.2026 for General and EWS candidates.

In addition to the remuneration, a consolidated amount of Rs. 12,000/- per year is paid towards insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. Gratuity is admissible as per the applicable provisions of the BEL Employees' Gratuity Scheme. Selected candidates must obtain a Medical Insurance cover of Rs. 2 lakhs per annum and Life Insurance cover of Rs. 5 lakhs per annum at the time of joining.

The application fee must be paid online via SBI Collect under PSU - Public Sector Undertaking selecting Bharat Electronics Limited and payment category "Project Engineer-I Post for NWCS". No fee is accepted via cheque, DD, or cash.

The selection process comprises a Written Test followed by an Interview. Written Test: Carries 85% weightage. The venue will be at Bengaluru and Delhi. Interview: Carries 15% weightage. Candidates who pass the written test are called for interview in a 1:5 ratio in order of merit in each category. Qualifying Marks: Minimum qualifying marks are 35% for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, and 30% for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates in both written test and interview separately.
