BEML has notified a total of 10 vacancies for the post of Non Executive (Tenure Basis), with the following category-wise breakup: SC-1, ST-0, OBC-2, EWS-1, and UR-6.

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification and age limit criteria mentioned below as on 8th September 2026. 3-year full-time Polytechnic Engineering Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial Electronics, or Mechatronics. The diploma must be a regular course from an AICTE/DCTE-approved College/Institution. Candidates must have secured a First Class with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks. A relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks is available for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

The upper age limit shown above already factors in the following relaxations as per Government of India norms: SC/ST candidates: 5 years relaxation OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation PwD candidates: an additional 10 years over and above the relaxation admissible for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), applicable to candidates with a minimum of 40% disability Candidates should ensure that they meet the prescribed age limit as on the specified cut-off date. Selected candidates will be engaged on tenure basis and paid the following monthly consolidated remuneration: An annual increase of 3% on the Basic Pay is admissible during the tenure, subject to satisfactory performance. Provident Fund is calculated on Basic Pay + DA. Candidates will also be eligible for Gratuity (as per the Gratuity Scheme) and Bonus (as per the Bonus Act), and are covered under applicable Income Tax, Service Tax, and Professional Tax rules.

Selection for the Non Executive (Tenure Basis) post will be based on the following process: The Computer Based Test will be of 2 hours duration, with 1 mark for each correct answer and no negative marking. The qualifying marks for the written test are fixed at 60%, relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Final selection is based purely on merit (marks scored) in the written test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification, limited to the number of notified vacancies (discipline/category-wise). Candidates qualifying in Document Verification must undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination. A Provisional Offer is issued after Document Verification, followed by a Final Offer of Engagement after a satisfactory Medical Report.
