BITSAT 2026 Iteration 8 Important Dates

Based on the counselling schedule published by BITS Pilani, here are the confirmed dates for Iteration 8:

Who Does the Iteration 8 Result Apply To?

This round is relevant only for candidates who:

• Registered for BITSAT 2026 counselling and submitted their programme/campus preference form
• Were not allotted a seat in an earlier iteration (Iteration 1 to 7), or were on the waiting list
• Have not withdrawn from the counselling process

How to Check the BITSAT 2026 Iteration 8 Result

• Go to the official BITS admission portal at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in.
• Click on the BITSAT 2026 admissions/counselling link on the homepage.
• Log in using your application number and the password sent to your registered email for this iteration (older passwords from earlier rounds may not work).
• Your seat allotment status - allotted programme, campus, and branch, or waiting list status - will be shown on screen.
• If allotted a seat, download and save the allotment letter for reference during document verification.

Fee Payment for Allotted Candidates

Candidates who receive a seat offer through Iteration 8 must pay the balance admission fee by August 25, 2026 to confirm the seat. The exact fee amount payable depends on the allotted programme and campus and is displayed on the candidate's login dashboard; a single fixed figure is not available here since it varies by branch and campus. Candidates should check the amount directly on the portal before making payment.

If the fee is not paid within the deadline, the allotted seat is liable to be cancelled and offered to another candidate in the next round.

What Happens If You Are Not Allotted a Seat in Iteration 8?

• Candidates not allotted a seat, or placed on the waiting list, are automatically considered for any subsequent round, subject to seat availability.
• Candidates should keep checking the official portal and their registered email for updates rather than assuming no further rounds will happen.

Important Instructions

• Use only the official portal (admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in) for checking results and making payments - do not rely on unofficial links.
• Each iteration typically comes with a fresh password sent by email; do not try old credentials if login fails.
• Missing the fee payment or reporting deadline can lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.
• Keep the application number, scorecard, and allotment letter accessible throughout the counselling process.
