Internship window: candidates must have completed their internship between 24/10/2024 and 23/10/2026. Registration: registration with the Dental Council of India is compulsory. Candidates registered with another state dental council may still appear, but they will have to register with the Dental Council of India if appointed. Former Junior Residents: a candidate who has already completed one year of Junior Residency may be allowed to appear for the interview again. That candidate will be offered the residency only if no fresh junior resident (one who has not completed a year of junior residency) is available. The appointment is purely on an adhoc basis. The first appointment is for 89 days. Based on satisfactory work and conduct, it may be extended till 01 year, with a one-day break after every 89-day term. Hostel accommodation is compulsory for the Junior Resident. Appointment depends on medical fitness and on verification of educational certificates.

Candidates will be selected through a written exam/screening test and an interview. First the application forms are scrutinised. The list of eligible candidates is then put on the Delhi Government website, and the written exam/screening test and interview are held for those candidates. The result will be displayed on the Delhi Government website. The notice says the list of eligible candidates will be shown on the Delhi Health Services website along with other details.
