Candidates must fulfill all of the following conditions as on the last date of application. The candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidate must have passed at least the 4th standard (चौथी). Candidate must be able to read, write and speak Marathi. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining gardens, plants, trees and greenery in proper condition.

Age will be calculated as on the date of publication of the notification (1 August 2026).

The selected candidate will be placed in Pay Level S-3 (Rs. 16,600 - 52,400/-) , along with Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances admissible as per rules. Initial appointment will be on a probationary basis for a period of 2 years.

Application fee: Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) for all categories. Fee must be submitted only as a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of "BOMBAY HIGH COURT ORIGINAL SIDE" . Applications without the fee will not be considered. The fee is non-refundable. Only Demand Draft is accepted — no other mode of fee payment (online, cash, postal order, etc.) is valid.

Candidates who fail to secure qualifying marks in the practical exam will be disqualified from the remaining process. The schedule for all these tests will be published from time to time on the official Bombay High Court website. Candidates must appear for the practical exam, physical fitness test and interview at their own expense. Only original photo ID proof (Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, or Driving Licence) will be accepted at the time of the practical exam and interview.

The application must be submitted strictly in the prescribed format (Appendix "A") attached with the notification. Candidates are responsible for filling in complete and accurate information in the application. Name, address, mobile number, email ID and date of birth must be entered exactly as per valid documents. Where marks are given in grades instead of percentage, candidates must obtain the marksheet with marks, total marks and percentage from the concerned school/board before applying offline, and submit it along with the application.
