BSEB STET Certificate 2026 Highlights

BSEB STET Certificate 2026 is the official eligibility certificate issued by the Bihar School Examination Board to candidates who qualify the Bihar STET exam for the respective paper and subject. It acts as proof that you have cleared the teacher eligibility test and are now eligible to apply for teaching posts for classes and subjects covered under STET in Bihar.

Remember, this is an eligibility document, not an appointment letter, so it doesn’t guarantee a job, but it is compulsory for almost every government and many private school teaching recruitments in the state.

BSEB STET Certificate Distribution 2026 (Offline)

For many STET cycles, BSEB has started distributing the certificates through designated district-wise centres, usually at the District Education Office or other notified venues. Candidates have to visit the centre on the given date with their original documents and ID proof to collect the certificate.

If the board follows the same pattern, BSEB will publish a detailed schedule PDF mentioning roll numbers, district names, venue addresses, and dates for certificate distribution.

District-wise distribution schedule

You can guide students on what to look for:

• BSEB will release a notice PDF for BSEB STET Certificate 2026 distribution on the official website.
• The PDF generally contains: District name Venue (office/college/school) Date and reporting time Roll number ranges for each day.
• District name
• Venue (office/college/school)
• Date and reporting time
• Roll number ranges for each day.

Encourage users to carefully check their roll number and reach only on the mentioned date and time to avoid rush and confusion.

Documents required at distribution centres

BSEB usually asks candidates to bring both original and photocopies of their documents for verification before handing over the STET certificate. Commonly required documents include:

• STET Admit Card
• STET Result / Scorecard (if available)
• Aadhar Card or any valid photo ID
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets (as per eligibility)
• Caste/Category certificate (if applicable)

Students should carry at least one set of self-attested photocopies, because sometimes staff ask to submit copies.
