The selected database developer will play a key role in the design of schemas and objects maintaining the established standards, including re-modelling structures or queries for increased performance. Will actively participate with the application teams in creating complex queries for the application. Will continuously monitor the database performance and engage in tuning exercises. Will help various support groups like operations and data-centre teams to schedule and monitor database backups, build and test database recovery models, spin new database instances and setup HA and Replication models. Will report to the Senior Technical Program Manager (Applications).
