• Selection for Tracer (Civil) posts will be through a Written Competitive Examination conducted by CG Vyapam (Exam Code: WRDT26). A Selection Committee will be constituted by the appointing authority comprising three members as specified in Schedule-III of the Niyam. Merit list will be prepared category-wise and forwarded to the department. In case of equal marks

• Written Examination Pattern (Exam Code: WRDT26)
• Syllabus is prescribed by the Department and available on the Vyapam website under the "Syllabus" link. Three barcode stickers are provided on the question paper cover - candidates must affix one on the OMR sheet

• and one on the attendance sheet at the designated place. OMR evaluation is done by OMR machine; no re-evaluation/re-checking is available. If a question is found defective
• all candidates will receive bonus marks equally. If a question has more than one correct option
• all correct options will be considered valid as per subject experts.
• Objection/Claim Process
• After provisional model answer key is published by Vyapam
• candidates may raise objections online within the specified period. Objection fee: Rs. 50/- per question (online only). Objections via post/email or in person will not be accepted. Claims without supporting evidence will be rejected. Expert committee review is final. Final answer key will be released along with exam results. No further claims/objections will be entertained after final answer key publication.
• Probation Period
• Directly recruited candidates will be on probation for 3 years from date of joining. Probation period may be extended by up to 1 year at the discretion of the appointing authority if work is found unsatisfactory. Services may be terminated during or at the end of the probation period if the candidate is not found suitable. Successful completion of probation leads to regularization.

• Candidates shall apply online only through the CG Vyapam official website https://vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in. Candidates applying for the first time must complete Profile Registration (Profail Panjikaran) on the Vyapam portal - once registered, personal details need not be re-entered for future exams. Candidates are advised to read the departmental recruitment rules carefully before applying.
• Steps to Apply Online:
• Complete Profile Registration on https://vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in (if not already registered) - scan and upload a light-background passport-size photograph in .jpg/.jpeg format (50 KB–100 KB) and specimen signature in .jpg/.jpeg format (50 KB–100 KB); filename must be alphanumeric without spaces or dots.
• Verify all details in Profile Registration before proceeding.
• Select the WRDT26 examination and fill in the Online Application Form.
• Pay the examination fee online - note the payment details and ensure the bank account details (for refund) are entered correctly.
• Click "SUBMIT" after successful fee payment to complete the application.
• Download and print the submitted application form and keep it safe.
• Admit Card (Pravesh Patra) will be available for download approximately 7 days before the exam (tentatively 27 July 2026) from the Vyapam website - candidates must download it from their profile. Admit card will NOT be sent by post.
• Carry full printout of the admit card to the exam centre along with one original photo ID proof (Voter ID/Driving License/PAN Card/Aadhaar Card with photo) and Blue/Black Ball Point Pen.

• Chhattisgarh domicile/local resident certificate (Mool Niwasi Praman Patra) - original, issued by competent authority
• Permanent caste/category certificate (Sthayi Jati Praman Patra) issued by authorized government officer - required for SC/ST/OBC candidates
• Permanent PwBD disability certificate (minimum 40% disability) issued by competent Medical Authority and UDID card - for PwBD candidates
• No Objection Certificate (Annapati Praman) from employer - for candidates working in government/semi-government organizations
• Ex-Servicemen discharge certificate/relevant documents - for Ex-SM candidates
• Green Card (for Family Welfare Programme beneficiaries claiming age relaxation)

• This appointment is purely temporary. As per terms of appointment, services can be terminated at any time. Appointees will be posted at any district in Chhattisgarh State as per vacancies. Merely filling the Online Application Form or appearing in the examination does not confer any right of appointment on the candidate. Eligibility is verified at document verification stage; ineligibility found at any stage will lead to cancellation of candidature. Objection to any question/answer must be raised online on the Vyapam website by logging in with profile ID and date of birth, within the specified time after model answer key release. Fee: Rs. 50/- per question online. Objections by post/email/in-person are not accepted. Final answer key, once published with results, is non-challengeable. Candidates must carry only the Admit Card, original photo ID and Blue/Black Ball Point Pen inside the examination hall. All other items including mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic devices, earrings, belts, wallets, scarves and caps are strictly prohibited. Candidates wearing religious or cultural attire must report to the exam centre in advance and will be subjected to additional security checks before being permitted to enter.
