- The selection process consists of 2 successive stages - Stage 1 (Written Examination) and Stage 2 (Interview/Personality Test). Candidates shortlisted from the written examination (approximately 3 times the number of vacancies per subject category) will be called for interview. Final merit list is prepared based on combined marks of both stages.

How To Apply
- Applications must be submitted online only through the official CGPSC portal www.psc.cg.gov.in. Manual or postal applications will not be accepted. The online portal will be active from 13-05-2026 (12:00 PM) to 11-06-2026 (11:59 PM).
- First-time users must complete Candidate Registration (name, father's name, DOB, mobile, email, identity proof, live photo capture via mobile link, signature upload) before applying. Previously registered candidates can log in directly using their existing ID and password.
- After successful fee payment, candidates will receive an application receipt. Status must show "Submitted" and payment status "Paid" - otherwise the application will be rejected.

Important Instructions
- Applications are accepted online only - no manual or postal applications. All required educational qualification certificates must be obtained on or before 11-06-2026. Free error correction is available once only from 12-06-2026 to 14-06-2026. Paid error correction (Rs. 500/-) is available once only from 15-06-2026 to 17-06-2026 - corrections allowed only in gender, DOB, category, domicile, disability and ex-serviceman entries. No further correction of any kind is permitted after the paid correction window. Portal fee and GST are non-refundable; examination fee is refunded to CG local residents who appear in examination. Admit cards/interview call letters will be uploaded approximately 10 days before exam/interview on the CGPSC website only - not sent individually. Candidates must carry original photo ID (Voter ID / Passport / Driving Licence / PAN Card / Aadhaar) along with admit card. Mobile phones and communication devices are strictly prohibited in examination/interview premises. Candidates found using unfair means, impersonation, or submitting fake documents will be debarred and face criminal prosecution. Candidates currently employed in Govt./PSU/Bank must apply for NOC from appointing authority before or immediately after submitting the online application. Candidates with more than one spouse living are not eligible for appointment. No re-evaluation or re-totalling of answer sheets is available.
