- Shortlisting Based on GATE-2025 Score/Marks in Mining Engineering (Paper Code: MN); shortlisted category-wise in ratio of 1:3 (3 candidates per vacancy) in order of merit
- Documents Verification (DV) Shortlisted candidates will be called for Documents Verification; intimated via CIL website and registered email ID only
- Initial Medical Examination (IME) By the company's Medical Committee as per CIL Medical Attendance Rules; Medical Committee decision is final and binding
- Offer of Appointment Issued only after successful completion of DV & IME
- 1st Tie-Break Candidate scoring higher percentage marks / CGPA in the minimum eligible qualification (Mining Engineering degree) will be placed higher in the merit list
- 2nd Tie-Break Seniority of age (older candidate preferred) if tie persists after 1st tie-break
- Training Period 1-year training-cum-probation period; on successful completion, service confirmed in E-1 Grade as Officer (Mining)

- Service Agreement Bond Minimum service of 60 months from date of joining; Bond of Rs. 3 Lakhs + applicable GST; Rs. 5,000/- per month deducted from salary towards bond money, refunded without interest after 60 months

Hard copy applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. The online portal will be active from 08-05-2026 (10:00 AM) to 07-06-2026 (6:00 PM).
