CSIR NAL Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow Posts

There are a total of 2 vacancies available under this notification.

The upper age limit is 28 years for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and 32 years for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) as on the last date of receipt of application.

No additional grants or salary will be paid apart from the fellowship amount. On account of official visits to other places, laboratories, or institutes, candidates will be entitled to reimbursement under the project as per rules of CSIR/CSIR-NAL.

The selection process involves the screening and shortlisting of applications based on information furnished in the offline application form, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates through email.

These positions are open only to Indian Nationals and Overseas citizens of India. The engagement is for a temporary duration of two years, with upgradation to SRF from the third year based on performance. Furnishing of wrong or false information will lead to disqualification and CSIR-NAL will not be responsible for consequences. Canvassing in any form or bringing in political or other influence will be treated as a disqualification. Candidates are advised to work for the project for a minimum duration of one year after appointment. If a candidate wishes to leave the job, prior information of a minimum of 1 month is required. No transport allowance will be paid for attending the interview. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
