CSL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 139 Graduate and Technician Apprentice Posts

Training seats are divided into two categories: Graduate Apprentices (for candidates with an engineering degree) and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (for candidates with an engineering or commercial practice diploma). CSL has stated that the number of training seats indicated is based on current requirement and may vary depending on future requirements; the company also reserves the right not to fill all notified seats.

Category I – Graduate Apprentices (61 Seats)

Category II – Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (78 Seats)

Applicants must be domicile of Kerala and must have passed their qualifying examination during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026. Post-wise minimum qualification is as follows. A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in the relevant discipline; or A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution empowered to grant such a degree by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline; or A graduate examination of professional bodies recognised by the State or Central Government as equivalent to the above. Candidates must be above 18 years of age as on 1 September 2026. Reservation of training seats for SC, ST, OBC, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) will follow applicable Government of India directives. Minimum physical standards are as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992, and any amendments thereof. No travel expenses are admissible during the apprenticeship training period, and CSL will not provide boarding or lodging. The training duration is one year as per the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and completion of apprenticeship does not entitle the apprentice to any claim of employment with CSL.

There is no application fee for this apprenticeship notification.

Only candidates who are domicile of Kerala will be considered. Shortlisting is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification for the respective discipline. If multiple candidates secure the same percentage of marks, relative merit is decided by seniority in the year of passing; if the passing year is also identical, precedence goes to the candidate senior in age (by date of birth). Shortlisted candidates must attend certificate verification with original documents (age, qualification, marks, caste, disability certificate if applicable) along with self-attested copies. Candidates who fail to produce originals will be rejected. Candidates who successfully complete certificate verification will be provisionally selected against the notified training seats in order of merit/reservation, subject to medical fitness.

CSL reserves the right to call for additional documentary evidence in support of educational qualification or other notified eligibility requirements. No correspondence will be entertained regarding rejection of an application on grounds of ineligibility. Call letters for certificate verification will not be sent by post; shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail and through publication on the CSL website.
