Cochin University of Science and Technology invites applications for engagement of Technical Assistant Grade III on contract basis in the Department of Chemical Oceanography. 18 - 40 Years as on 01.01.2026 (usual age relaxation for reserved categories).

The University reserves the right to shortlist candidates on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying degree. Shortlisting will be done as per merit and the number of applications received. Selection will be as per University rules, reservation norms of the state, and Syndicate decisions. The tenure of appointment on contract will be as decided by the University from time to time. The appointment conditions of service, emoluments and other service benefits shall be governed by the provisions of K.S.R, K.S & S.S.R, Act/ Statutes/ Ordinances and Syndicate decisions of CUSAT as amended from time to time.

The appointment is on contract basis and governed by CUSAT rules. Technical Assistants will be engaged from July to April with breaks during May-June vacation months. Reservation rules of the state are applicable. The University reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on qualifying degree marks. The tenure and service conditions will be as decided by the University from time to time.
