Candidates who are verified and approved by their chosen DAV school must pay the CBT application fee online within 7 days of approval. Only candidates who complete the fee payment will be permitted to appear in the CBT.

Selection under DAV Staff Recruitment 2026 takes place in two main stages: Computer Based Test (CBT): A centralised online exam conducted all over India as per the datesheet prepared by DAVCMC. Demo-cum-Interview (Phase 3): Conducted separately by individual DAV schools, as and when advertised. Only candidates who clear both the demo and interview are offered employment. Schools may charge a nominal handling fee at this stage. The CBT will be a computer-based exam of a total of 1.5 hours (90 minutes), comprising two papers held one after the other in the same slot.
