The selection process follows this sequence, as per the notification timeline: The Mandal Educational Officer (MEO) issues a press note indicating the number of Academic Instructors allotted to each school (school-wise, subject-wise, and medium-wise). Eligible candidates submit applications at the MRC (Mandal Resource Centre) on or before 19.08.2026 (per Annexure-I) / by 21.08.2026 (per the main proceedings and Timelines table). MEOs submit all received applications to the District Educational Officer. A Committee scrutinizes the applications (23.08.2026 to 26.08.2026). After Committee scrutiny, the file is processed for approval from the District Collector. Upon approval, the list of selected candidates is communicated to the respective School Management Committees through the concerned MEOs. The engagement of Academic Instructors is purely temporary and for a period of 8 months only (01.09.2026 to 30.04.2027); services automatically cease from 01.05.2027. Selected candidates must join their respective allotted schools on 01.09.2026 positively. If any selected candidate does not join the allotted school, the next meritorious candidate will be considered. All MEOs must submit the attendance details of Academic Instructors working in their respective Mandals to the DEO office by the 2nd of every month without fail; failure to do so will result in action against the MEO.
