DHS Goa Surgeon Eligibility Criteria

Surgeon / Orthopedic Surgeon / Anesthetist / Radiologist / Physician / PsychiatristA recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part- II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in the sub-section (3) of the section 13 of the I.M.C. Act, 1956.
Echo Cardiologist(i) Post-Graduate degree qualifications in the General Medicine or Post-Graduate degree qualification in Respiratory Medicine with fellowship in ECHO Cardiology OR Post-Graduate degree qualifications in the General Medicine or Post-Graduate degree qualification in Respiratory Medicine with certificate in ECHO Cardiology and 01 year experience.
Intensivist / Consultant (ICU)A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub section (3) of section 13 of the IMC Act 1956 AND MD Anesthesia / Equivalent degree OR MD in general medicine / Equivalent degree with 1 year experience in intensive care OR MD in respiratory medicine with 1 year experience in intensive care OR MBBS Graduate with 2 years certificate course in critical medicine/intensive care with 1 year work experience. (Note: For MBBS Graduate with MCI recognized certificate course in critical medicine/intensive care, remuneration is Rs. 1,60,000/-)
Medical Officer(i) Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part- II of the Third Schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in the section 18 (3) of the I.M.C. Act, 1956 or a degree of Goa Medical School. (ii) Completion of compulsory rotating Internship.
Occupational TherapistMaster in Occupational Therapy / Bachelor in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution. (Desirable: 01 year experience working with children and interest in Pediatric Neuro-rehabilitation)
Speech TherapistM. Sc or B. Sc in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from a recognized institution. (Desirable: 6 months experience in Speech Therapy)
Behavior TherapistGraduate in any field from a recognized institution with specialized training in Behavior Therapy for Autism from reputed institute. (Desirable: 1 year experience in Behavior Therapy)
Technical Staff (Engineer)B.E. (Mechanical) or B.E. in Biomedical Engineering with one year experience.

DHS Goa Age Limit

Age limit: Not exceeding 45 years for posts where specified, or up to 60 years for specific medical posts (Surgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon, Anesthetist, Radiologist, Physician, Psychiatrist, Echo Cardiologist, Intensivist / Consultant (ICU)).
