Qualification: 10+2 Pass from a recognized Educational Board; Punjabi pass up to Matric Standard; Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Yoga from a recognized Institute/ Body or minimum 5 Years Experience certificate from a Yoga Institute; Should be medically fit as per the Medical certificates issued by the concerned Civil Surgeon Experience: Minimum 5 Years Experience certificate from a Yoga Institute (as an alternative to a Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in Yoga) Age limit: Between 20 years to 45 years (as on 1 January 2026) Other conditions: Punjabi pass up to Matric Standard Should be medically fit as per the Medical certificates issued by the concerned Civil Surgeon Instructor conducts only the YOGA/ IEC Session in the morning Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates residing in the same village where AYUSH HWCs is located

Part-time engagement linked to performance parameters based on YOGA/ IEC session hours conducted No request for transfer to any other AYUSH HWC or healthcare facility will be entertained Engagement gives no claim of regularization, fixed remuneration, allowances and leaves DAUO shall remove the instructor if no session is held for 3 consecutive working days Removal if participants per session are less than 10 for 3 consecutive days, or for indiscipline or insubordination No honorarium during training or for a part session

Merit determined by the interview committee after interview, as per the selection criteria Marks for 10+2 percentage (pro-rata out of 10), Yoga certificate/diploma/degree (10/15/20), Yoga experience (max 5), age (max 5) and interview (5) Percentage of marks in 10+2 calculated pro-rata out of 10 marks Yoga Certificate 10 marks, Diploma 15 marks, Degree 20 marks, irrespective of marks obtained Yoga experience from a Yoga institute: 1 mark per completed year, maximum 5 marks; no marks for part-year Age marks: 20-25 years 3, 26-35 years 5, 36-45 years 4 Interview: 5 marks Committee: Deputy Commissioner or representative, DAUO, District Homeopathy Officer, one Ayurvedic Medical Officer trained in Yoga Protocol
