Only officers and officials holding a regular post in the Central Government, State Government, Union Territory, Recognized Research Institute, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Bodies, or PSUs are eligible to apply. Applications from officers working in private organisations, or those who are unemployed, retired, or on a contractual basis, will not be considered. Holding an analogous post on regular basis; or having at least five years of regular service in Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700) or equivalent; and Possessing a Master's degree in Engineering in a related field from a recognised University or Institution, with ten years' experience in pollution control or a related field after acquiring the Master's Degree.
