DRDO CVRDE Paid Internship Recruitment 2026 - Apply Offline for 35 Posts

CVRDE is offering internships under two categories: Category (a) for UG engineering students and Category (b) for PG engineering students. The number of vacancies is indicative and may increase or decrease at the establishment's discretion. A total of 35 internship vacancies are available across both categories (15 under Category (a) and 20 under Category (b)).

Category (a): UG Internship (B.E/B.Tech, 7th/8th Semester) – 15 Vacancies

Category (b): PG Internship (M.E/M.Tech, 1st/2nd Year) – 20 Vacancies

Regular students pursuing an Engineering Degree in B.E/B.Tech (7th/8th semester) or M.E/M.Tech (1st/2nd year) full-time course in the relevant discipline from a recognised Indian University/Institute. Only regular students from AICTE-approved technical institutions or UGC-approved universities are eligible to apply. Candidates should have a minimum 8.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 85% marks, maintained continuously in all previous semesters. Students with backlogs are not eligible. The scheme is open only to students holding Indian nationality. Students already receiving a stipend or similar benefit from any other institute are not eligible for this internship programme.

Applicants must be regular full-time students of a recognised Indian University or Institute, currently pursuing B.E/B.Tech in the 7th or 8th semester (UG category) or M.E/M.Tech in the 1st or 2nd year (PG category), in one of the four disciplines listed above: Mechanical, Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical, or Computer Science/AI/ML/IT. No equivalent qualification or related branch will be considered.

Selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000/- for the six-month duration. The stipend is paid in two slabs of three months each, with Rs. 15,000/- credited directly to the student's bank account per slab. No boarding, lodging, or transport allowance is provided; students must make their own arrangements. A wet canteen facility is available at CVRDE for lunch and tea on a payment basis.

Selection is entirely on a merit basis, considering the candidate's academic track record (≥85% marks or ≥8.5 CGPA in every previous semester). Shortlisted students will be intimated through their registered e-mail ID along with joining instructions. Candidates who are not selected will not receive any communication. CVRDE/DRDO reserves the right to change the vacancy positions or selection criteria at any point during the selection process without assigning any reason.
