How to Apply
- 1Candidates must apply online through the DRDO website and submit the filled application along with requisite documents to the email ID of the respective lab. Applicants should ensure they satisfy all eligibility criteria as on the closing date (05-06-2026). Candidates should not change their registered mobile number or email after submission, as vital information regarding shortlisting/selection will be communicated through email/SMS. Candidates may apply to multiple labs by submitting separate applications to each lab's email. Applications with false or incomplete information will be rejected. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.

Important Instructions
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible; students studying outside India cannot apply. Minimum 6.5 CGPA is mandatory; 6th Sem (UG) / 2nd Sem (PG) marksheet must be submitted at time of joining. Candidates must commit to the full 6-month continuous internship period; early exit means no certificate will be issued. Separate applications must be submitted to each lab if applying to multiple labs. Police Verification Certificate from local police authorities must be submitted before joining. Laptops, mobile phones, Smart Watches, USB dongles or any storage media are not permitted inside lab premises. Physical presence for minimum 15 days per month is mandatory. Progress report to be submitted after 3 months and final project report after 6 months. Certificate from HoD/Principal that the student will not be called to college (except for examinations) during internship period is mandatory. Lab will not provide marks, grades or evaluation for the student. Interns must not mention or misrepresent any DRDO Lab on social media at any time. Selection as intern does not guarantee employment in DRDO at any later date. Misrepresentation of facts at any stage will result in immediate cancellation of candidature without notice. All decisions of the respective labs and DRDO regarding selection are final and binding.
