The candidate must be a citizen of India as defined in the Constitution of India or under any law made by the Parliament to regulate the rights for citizenship. The crucial date for determining educational qualification and experience is 11 November 2026.

Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years but should not have attained the age of 27 years. The age limit shall be reckoned as on 01 June 2026. Therefore, a candidate must be born not earlier than 02 June 1999 and not later than 01 June 2008.

Application fees must be paid online exclusively through SBI e-pay. Other modes of payment are not accepted. Application fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The selection process comprises an Objective Test (MCQ) followed by an Interview. Each MCQ carries 1 mark with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The language of the examination will be bi-lingual (English and Hindi) except for the English and Hindi language papers. Minimum qualifying marks for the Objective/MCQ Examination are 50% for UR/EWS category and 45% for OBC(Delhi)/SC/ST/PH(PwBD)/ESM. The interview carries 15 marks and will be conducted by the Office of the Ld. Principal District & Sessions Judge(HQs). The number of candidates called for interview shall be a maximum of 10 times the total vacancies. There is no minimum qualifying mark in the interview.

Applications must be submitted through online mode only; postal, hand-delivered, or email applications will not be accepted. Once the online application form is submitted, no requests for change or correction in any particulars (including category) will be entertained. Candidates must possess valid category certificates (OBC, EWS, SC, ST, PwBD) issued on or before the closing date of 11 November 2026. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificates must be issued on/after 01 April 2026 and up to 11 November 2026. Only one online registration and one application per post code are permitted per candidate.
