ESIC Medical College Kolkata Recruitment 2026 - Walkin for 24 Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor Posts

A total of 24 vacancies are available across various Super Specialty Departments for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor posts. Note: Total vacancies across Professor (11), Associate Professor (11), and Assistant Professor (3) equal 25 based on the table addition, while the official notification total is stated as 24.

The age limit of candidates should not exceed 69 years on the date of document verification and interview.

In addition to the consolidated remuneration, Super Specialty Teaching Faculty will be entitled to transport allowance with DA on transport allowance as per rules. Consolidated remuneration is subject to revision matching DA rate changes as per Govt of India orders. No other allowances will be paid.

Mode of payment: A Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1", drawn on any scheduled bank payable at 'Kolkata' must be submitted along with the Application Form. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

The selection will be made on the basis of the performance of the candidate in an interview before the Selection Board.

The contract is purely for a period of three years or till the posting of a regular incumbent or attaining 70 years of age, whichever is earlier, subject to annual performance review. Maximum tenure of engagement will not exceed 70 years of age. The post is terminable by either side with a prior notice of one month without assigning any reason. No private practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC. Retired candidates from Central/State Govt. / PSU from equivalent posts and persons working in recognized/approved Private Medical Institutions fulfilling eligibility criteria may apply. Candidates reporting beyond 10:30 AM for the interview shall not be considered. No TA/DA will be admissible for joining the institution, medical test, or submission of documents.
