ESIC PMU ICT Professionals Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 25 Networking Engineer, Application Engineer & More Vacancies

The 25 vacancies are spread across leadership, engineering, and specialist roles within four broad functions: IT Operations & Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Vendor/Procurement & Project Management, and Applications/Database/Networking.

Eligibility for ESIC PMU ICT Recruitment 2026 is position-specific: leadership roles require significantly more experience than engineer-level roles. Candidates may apply for more than one post but must submit a separate application for each. Across all 25 posts, the essential educational qualification is a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Electronics & Communication/other engineering stream or MCA from a recognized university, with two exceptions: the Project Director (PMU Head) additionally requires an MBA in IT/Project Management, and several posts note that relevant OEM or domain certifications (e.g., in Windows/Linux administration, virtualization, ISO 27001, SIEM/XDR/NAC, networking, or database/SAS platforms) are preferred or an added advantage. The age of a candidate as on the closing date of application must not be less than 18 years and must not exceed 62 years. The Corporation has clarified separately that the contract period itself will not extend beyond the candidate turning 65 years, whichever is earlier. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from ₹80,000 to ₹3,30,000 depending on the position, as detailed in the vacancy table above. This remuneration is inclusive of all applicable taxes, and no other facility or allowance will be paid. Remuneration for retired government servants engaged under this scheme will follow applicable Government of India guidelines.

Engagement will be made on the recommendation of a duly constituted Selection Committee approved by the Competent Authority/Director General, ESIC. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview based on the information furnished in the application form; ESIC has clarified that mere submission of an application does not confer any right to be called for interview, and that detailed verification of credentials is not undertaken before the interview stage, making candidature provisional until document verification.

Engagement is purely contractual and does not create any employer-employee relationship or any claim to regular appointment/absorption in ESIC. The engagement is full-time; professionals cannot take up any other assignment during the contract period. ESIC may terminate the engagement at any time without providing reasons, and either side may end the contract with 15 days' written notice (waivable for misconduct-based termination, which takes immediate effect). Leave is admissible at 1.5 days per completed month, without carry-forward beyond the calendar year.
