ESIC has notified a total of 85 posts across 25 departments: 7 Professor, 20 Associate Professor, 19 Assistant Professor, and 39 Senior Resident posts. The department-wise and category-wise vacancy position is given below. These vacancies include reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen as per prevailing Government of India norms; if candidates in these categories are unavailable, vacancies will be filled from the interview panel to meet essential service and NMC norm requirements, and the PwD reservation will be carried forward. Vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease as per actual requirement. In case of non-availability of reserved category candidates, a post may be filled for less than 45 days as a de-reserved seat.

Age relaxation will be given as per the prevailing norms of the Government of India. The maximum tenure of the contractual engagement, in any case, is till the candidate attains 70 years of age, subject to fulfilment of other rules. EWS candidates must submit the EWS Certificate as per Annexure-I of DoPT Office Memorandum No. 36039/1/2019-Estt(Res), dated 31 January 2019, based on F.Y. 2025-26 and issued on or after 1 April 2026. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must submit the OBC (NCL) Certificate as per Annexure-I of DoPT Office Memorandum No. 36036/2/2013-Estt.(Res.), dated 30 May 2014, and subsequent amendments.

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration as per ESIC Medical Administration HQRS Office Memorandum No. Z-17/11/1/2007/Med.IV (Pt. File) dated 13 April 2022, and Z-11012/51/2022-Med VI dated 8 December 2022.

Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Selection is made on the basis of the candidate's acquired academic credentials and their performance in an interview before the Selection Board - there is no separate written examination for these posts. The result will be displayed in the Recruitment section of www.esic.gov.in/recruitments, and the offer of appointment will be sent only through email. All candidates must report for document verification at the interview venue at 9:00 AM on the scheduled date. Mere submission of an application does not confer any right to an interview unless the candidate reports with the required documents on the scheduled date and time.

Tenure: 1 year, extendable annually up to a maximum of 3 years, subject to satisfactory performance, or till a regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
