FSSAI Legal Consultant Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 3 Posts

The notification announces a total of 3 vacancies for the post of Legal Consultant on a contract basis.

Not more than 58 years of age as on the last date of submission of the application.

There shall be a 5% annual increment applicable only if the contract is extended beyond 01 year from the date of appointment in FSSAI. No separate local allowances, HRA, or medical benefits are admissible.

The notification does not mention any application fee.

The selection process consists of shortlisting followed by a Walk-in Interview.

Applications received after the last date and found incomplete will be summarily rejected. Applications should be submitted with contact number and email-id. Shortlisted candidates to be called for selection procedure would be informed through e-mail/telephone with a week's notice at least. Physical applications will not be entertained in any case and will be summarily rejected. Candidates must produce the relevant documents in original when asked for by FSSAI. The engagement is purely on contract basis initially for one year and may be extendable annually up to a maximum period of three years. Individual Consultants shall not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of consultancy with FSSAI. Police verification of the individual consultants shall be done as per the latest instructions issued by MHA.
